Released in 2003 and re-leased in 2004 after the PS2 version's debut, the soundtrack for Tales of Symphonia offers a standard set of tracks for an RPG. Composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Shinji Tamura, the OST isn't the most spectacular example of video game music available, but the music is overall enjoyable and fitting for the game.
