Here's my stupid fun little page on other characters that resemble Raine in some way.
ivy
The sword-wielding Isabella "Ivy" Valentine of the Soul Calibur series is another one of Namco's characters.
Ivy resembles Raine physically more than anything. Ivy and Raine's choices of dress differ for the most part, but Ivy's
second costume and Raine's formal wear have some similarities. Both have short,
silver hair. And of course, Ivy and Raine are both strong, female characters in their respective games. Also, they have the same voice actress, Touma Yumi.
Aeris
 The tragic character Aeris Gainsborough of Final Fantasy VII (+ the million spinoffs) has a few things in common with our Professor.
Healing magic? Yup. Debatable romantic relationship with spiky haired main character? Yup. Staff/rod based weapons? Why yes. Child of a human who
ended up falling in love with member of an ancient race? Yep. On the run from an organization with, erm, unfriendly motives at some point in their lives?
Yes. And... that's all I've got.
Nanao
The vice-captain of the 8th divison, Ise Nanao~chan is a very stern and scholarly looking female Shinigami (Death God) from Kubo Tite's Bleach
Like Raine, Nanao is usually
seen with a random large book. Both have similar no-nonsense personalities (except Raine's ruin mode, of course). Additionally, both have to put up with
constant flirtation; Raine is constantly ignoring the advances of Zelos, while Nanao has to deal with her flirtatious and laidback Captain,
Kyouraku Shunsui (♥~!).
Quistis
Raine reminds me of Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII I for a few reasons. First of all, Quistis is a
young instructor, like Raine who is referred to as "Professor" at only 23.
Second, both characters have mature and calm attitudes, but they each have an opposite side to their personalities.
Third, I think they both have a similar style, fashion-wise. And... they both have fanclubs!
nebilim
Prior to being accidentally killed by her own student, Professor Gelda Nebilim of
Tales of the Abyss was an "Oracle Knight" of the Order of Lorelei. She left to Order after doing research on a
technique with the strength of a planet, and then came to the town of Keterburg and taught the local children. Like Raine, Prof.
Nebilim was a professor who cared about her
students, and also seems to resemble Raine physically. And before becoming an evil, murderous, monster (meaning, the hardest boss in the game),
Nebilim was a "Seventh Fonist," meaning she had the ability to use healing powers. I have to wonder if the similarities were intentional...
