The 23 year old teacher steps into the game as a master of healing magic, but she ends up defying all existing "white mage" stereotypes. With a fanatic love of archaeology, a sad past to come to terms with, and much more, Raine is an intriguing and deep character even if you wouldn't expect it at first. More about Raine (and just why on earth I love her so much) can be found at my shrine dedicated to her, Ruin :). The name of this site, Curatio, is the Latin word for "healing" or "curing." I wanted the name of this site to reflect Raine's role as a healer or mentor. I also wanted "Curatio" to serve as a contrast to "Ruin," which speaks more to the the tragic aspects of Raine's character.
